Why are most of your extracts used with glycerin instead of alcohol?

Over the years, our founder Alicia, has heard the same complaints from people regarding taking their supplements; that they didn't enjoy the taste or they couldn’t swallow capsules. Because of this, our focus is to create liquid herbal extracts that taste good. (After all, supplements will only work if you take them!) We use vegetable glycerin instead of alcohol because it has a slightly sweet flavour and doesn’t have a harsh flavour that many of the alcohol extract have.

It’s also safe for people who avoid alcohol, kids, and people with liver health concerns.


Why does alcohol-free matter?

Many (but not all) companies use low grade quality alcohol such as corn alcohol that cause inflammation in the body. This is counter-productive when taking supplements to improve health. Glycerin is neutral and does not have any negative side effects within the body.


What do the tinctures taste like?

Our tinctures have a slightly sweet taste that brings our the unique flavour of each different herb. Many people really enjoy the taste, making it easier for them to stay consistent.


Can children or women take your products while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Many of our products are safe for children and pregnant and breastfeeding women, but we recommend you speak to your primary health care provider for professional advice to determine which are safe and suitable for you.


Are any of your products sweetened with sugar?

We do not use sugar in any of our products. The glycerin is naturally sweet and does not contain any sugar.

How are your mushrooms extracted?

Our mushrooms are concentrated, dually extracted powders. Meaning, you’ll receive a potent, full spectrum extract from our organic medicinal mushrooms. This process uses a water and/or alcohol menstruum to extract the mushrooms' medicinal compounds. The resulting liquid is spray dried, producing a highly-concentrated, water-soluble powder. This product is easily dissolved in liquid or can be added to foods and drinks.


Are your products gluten free or allergen free?

While we do not work with products that contain gluten in our facility, we are not certified gluten free. Our suppliers may process gluten and/or allergen containing products in their facilities. For this reason we are unable to guarantee any of our products are gluten or allergen free.


Does Wild Bloom Botanicals grow their own herbs?

We do not grow our own herbs. As a manufacturer, we source top quality herbs from around the world. The herbs undergo a quality assurance process, and are then packaged for resale, and blended into our custom formulated elixirs, teas, and tinctures.


Are all of your herbal extracts organic?

All of our herbs are always organic.


Are all your products vegan?

All of our products are always vegan.


Do you ship worldwide?

We offer world-wide shipping and free shipping on orders over $75.


What is your shipping policy?

  • We ship in 1-3 business days. Time of transit will vary depending on delivery location, however it generally arrives in 15 business days or less.

  • We ship from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

  • There is free international shipping on orders over $75CAD.

  • We will not be responsible for lost, stolen, undelivered items, or items refused by customs. If your package has not arrived in a timely fashion please contact us within 6 weeks at info@wildbloombotanicals.com and we will be happy to make a claim on your behalf with Canada Post.

  • If a shipment is returned to us un-delivered, we will contact you, and you will have the option to be refunded for the product (minus the original shipping fee) or we can reship the order to a new address after receiving an additional shipping fee.
